Disney has given us many live-action remakes of their beloved animated classics over the years, and Snow White is the next one in line. The first teaser trailer for this film is finally here, and it sees Rachel Zegler’s Snow White facing Gal Gadot’s Evil Queen.
Snow White puts a modern twist on Disney’s 1937 animated classic, and the first teaser confirms the inclusion of the original song “Whistle While You Work”. Zegler unveiled the trailer at Disney’s D23 Expo alongside her co-star Gal Gadot, and said it’s been an honor of a lifetime to play Snow White.
“I think any young person, any little girl if you get to put on a Disney princess dress and be her for a day let alone six months… it’s just been the most amazing experience and I can’t wait to share it with you all,” said Zegler.
In addition to the leading duo, Show White will also star Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman, Dujonna Gift as Maple, Martin Klebba as Grumpy, and Colin Michael Carmichael in an undisclosed role. The Seven Dwarfs will be CGI characters in this live-action remake, and Disney is yet to cast all the voice actors in these roles.
Snow White will be released in theaters on March 21, 2025, before heading to Disney+ at a later date.
