Lifehacker’s Apple Guessing Contest Enters Round 2

Lifehacker’s Big Guessing Game has moved into its second round, continuing a 2026 contest built around predicting Apple’s upcoming announcements. According to the report, the promotion is run in partnership with other CNET Group sites and offers participants a chance to win the latest Apple Watch.

The contest is spread across three rounds. The first round, which ended on June 2, focused on Apple software topics such as iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and visionOS. The second round, which ran from July 7 through July 21, centered on Apple hardware, including iPhones, iPads, Macs, Apple Watches, and Vision Pro. A third round is scheduled for Aug. 18 through Sept. 1 and will focus on Apple’s fall event. Each round includes five questions, and every correct answer counts as one entry toward the grand-prize drawing.

The report says the giveaway is open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C., who are at least 18 years old. Readers can participate on Lifehacker as well as other CNET Group sites, including CNET, Mashable, PCMag, and ZDNET. Across all three rounds and all participating sites, there are 75 possible questions in total, though each entrant can only win one prize. The final winner announcements are expected shortly after Apple’s fall event.

As noted in the update, the second round has now ended, and readers are being directed to return on Aug. 18 for the next phase of the game.
